Ray here reporting back after surviving San Diego Comic-Con and Gen Con back to back! Here's some pictures to prove we were there:
Post-Con Priorities
We're all hands on deck to finish out fulfillment and customer support on Storm & Root and our other crowdfunding projects, with the goal of completing everything by the end of the month. We'll be digging into our support channels, discord messages, kickstarter messages, etc.
That said, please be patient with us. We have a lot to go through and we're moving as fast as we can. As far as specific regions go, here are the updates:
United Kingdom
Vince reported today some issues Bezos is having with their portal and listing of products which has caused a lot of orders with multiple SKUs to be delayed. It's really not worth going into, but for transparency's sake essentially the SKUs were listed as the ISBNs when in the past they were completely separate, so now there are duplicate entries on the portal that need to be sorted, checked, and cleared before more shipments go through. We're working on it and have a meeting with them this week to sort it out.
Canada
Goods have been good to go, but the quote we received from the freight fowarder seemed really, really crazy at $6k (!) to get them across the border. Spent the morning today calling other forwarders for quotes to see if that's really the price or if we're getting our legs yanked. Sorry Canadians, I know this is frustrating but it's my top priority right now to make sure this goes through.
Europe / ROW
Europe + ROW should be mostly done with shipping, with reports in the Discord and here of goods hitting doors. On our end, it seems like everything has gone out and will be arriving / has arrived at doors.
USA
We still have to ship out the dice which we're gearing up for this week. We still have a few orders that need to be shipped on our end, about 30 total. Otherwise, the majority of orders should be out minus the above.
Webstore
All webstore orders up to July 15th have been sent out. We are working on the orders from July 15th onwards. From July 15th to August 6th (today) there have been 168 new orders of the Wildsea Core alone. I know this is Kickstarter, but if you are online interacting with someone who ordered on our webstore, do let them know that we're working on it.
The Plan / Dream
Once we get all of our the pending orders cleared, we should be able to turn on warehouse automation again which will hopefully make things a lot smoother from order to warehouse to shipping. We couldn't do that right away because we turned on a preorder system while we were out of goods, and, well, it was good because we could take preorders, but doing so created some logistical hurdles that we're working through.
