Hey Everybody,
Ray here with the logistics update you've all been waiting for! Jumping straight into it:
Shipping/Distribution Partners
So, as the publisher, Vince and I get to deal with a lot of the nitty-gritty stuff behind the scenes that isn't necessarily the sexiest when it comes to making tabletop games: things like printing, warehousing, logistics, fulfillment, ocean freight, etc. For the past six months, the team here at Mythworks has worked really, really hard to try and bring shipping rates down across the board for backers from anywhere.
That being said, I'm incredibly excited to announce two brand new shipping partners that are helping us reach that goal:

Indie Bookshelf RPG is the fulfillment outfit of Storybrewers Roleplaying based in Australia. They're the fine purveyors of games like The Good Society and Fight with Spirit, and by my estimate, one of the most innovative design outfits on the scene. We're big fans of their their games, and thanks to their logistics know-how we've managed to reduce our shipping prices to Oceania significantly (Aus moreso than NZ).
They also have a Kickstarter for their latest game - Castles in the Air - in its last two days! Castles in the Air is a collaborative roleplaying game that captures the troubles and tenderness of stories like Little Women and Anne of Green Gables.
After crowdfunding, we've also signed a distribution agreement with Indie Bookshelf RPG to make our games available through them in Australia. We'll be directing all of our fans from that side of the world to their website, and hopefully through them, various brick and mortars down in Oz.

In Canada, we've partnered with Compose Dream Gameswith a similar deal to handle crowdfunding fulfillment and wholesale / direct sales up North. Compose Dream Games is a distributor, publisher, and advocate of Canadian Made Games. We got to hang out with Josh and Co. during Breakout Con in May, where I got to pick up a copy of Ross Riflesand Josh's game, God Killer Prophecy. Just like with Australia, we'll be directing future Canadian customers to buy directly from Compose Dream in order to hopefully save on shipping!
Shipping Rates
With our new partners, we were able to bring down the average price of shipping for this campaign to consistently around $10-18 USD across the board between the USA, UK, EU, CAN, and AUS, duties included.
This may not be as exciting as a backer, but as someone who has been crowdfunding for ten years I'm incredibly proud of our team for the work it took to get here. Hopefully, it's the type of infrastructure that will allow Mythworks to blossom going forward.
Backers, please double check on your BackerKit to see the shipping rate you will be charged.
We will be charging for shipping next Wednesday, June 12th. We'll send a final 48 hour notice on Monday, June 11th.

Cthonic Dice - Delayed
Unfortunately, we did manufacture the Cthonic Dice with another factory that had a bit more turnaround than the main production. The Cthonic Dice shipment is just now being loaded into boats, and is around 6 weeks behind the other goods. That means orders with the dice (Stretch Goal Backers) will unfortunately be sent slightly later than the other rewards.
We're really sorry about the delay here - wish everything could have lined up, but we are doing everything we can to expedite these as soon as possible.

Okay, that was a lot! As always, if you have an issue please email us at: support@myth.works or drop a line in the Kickstarter Messages. Just FYI, we're expecting high volume in the next few weeks as we roll out shipping, and we have a training set for our new summer interns, Rox and Regan, for customer success next Tuesday. So, expect an answer around then if you've messaged us in the past week. Thank you for your patience!
Next time, Wild Words SRD and maybe a Game Jam of some sort....?
