Hey folks!
Hope everyone is keeping cool in this summer heat! Over here at Mythworks, we've been on the move exhibiting at Origins and the ALA conventions. It's been exhaustingly fun, and we're glad to be back and recuperating before we our next set of shows.
Origins & ALA
Origins Games Fair was our first stop. Located in Columbus, Ohio, the convention was celebrating 50 years! It was great to meet fans in the area who came by our booth to chat.
On our downtime, the team pulled out some games and ran some playtests of our upcoming projects - Pico and CBR+PNK: Overload. Ray ran an awesome session of CBR+PNK, with the latest Akuma one-shot! If you're interested in joining the fun, we are running a kickstarter for the expansion here.

ALA, the American Library Association, was an interesting show to booth at. Unlike the other shows we go to, the ALA is a convention catering to librarians. There were lots of publishers and library-oriented services out there giving away free swag and showing the latest and greatest in book-scanning technology.
In our corner, we were in good company as there were a ton of comic and ttrpg people boothing with us. It's nice to see that ttrpgs and comics are getting recognition in such spaces!
We weren't there to sell, but rather spread awareness of the stories and games we create. At the end of each day, we held a raffle and gave away what we came with. Honestly, we were a bit doubtful as the raffle was a last-minute addition, but Mythworks team member - Graham Gentz - knocked it out of the park and it became a little show to cap off each day.
