Trump's Tariffs: Moving Forward With Slugblaster

Hey Everyone,

Today, the United States and China reached a deal to temporarily slash tariffs, with goods sent from China to the United reduced to 30% over the next 90 days. 

What this means for us at Mythworks is that we are immediately sending through the reprint of Slugblaster: Game of the Year and Slugblaster: Core, which were previously on indefinite hold when the tariffs went up to 145%.

We’re also excited to announce that we are moving forward for the next expansion, Slugblaster: Slime, Warp, Solder, which will launch on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

Updated Pricing Due to Increased Costs

While the tariff reduction is welcome news, it does not fully offset the increased costs we are incurring. As of today, we are adjusting the prices for the following products:

• Slugblaster: GOTY — from $79.95 to $84.99 USD

• Slugblaster: Core — from $39.99 to $42.99 USD

This change reflects a 30%+ increase in landed goods costs, which may continue to rise as ocean freight rates spike in the coming weeks.

We will honor all existing preorder pricing, and we expect to begin fulfillment of those orders in approximately six weeks — around July 2025.
